March 20 and 21 (20:30) – Teatro Principal de Vitoria-Gasteiz
Price: € 40 – € 70
Les Luthiers are to visit Bilbao, Vitoria and San Sebastián on tour in March 2020 with their show Viejos hazmerreíres (Old Laughing Stocks).
The veteran Argentinean group, with half a century of history packed with hits and a devoted audience behind them, return to the Basque provincial capitals with their improvised, outlandish instruments to make us laugh with a brand-new set featuring what has been described as the ultimate retrospective of their history.
Viejos hazmerreíres is a compilation of some of Les Luthiers’ most celebrated sketches, linked together by the zany “Radio Tertulia”, a radio programme presented by two journalists who have opinions about everything but know nothing.
It consists of some of the most hilarious scenes that have made Les Luthiers a cult company: the musical “Las Majas del Bergantín” (“The Beauties of the Brigantine”), “Quién mató a Tom Mc Coffee” (“Who Killed Tom McCoffee”) and “La cumbia epistemológica” (“The Epistemological Cumbia Dance”).
